When reading this sort story, it very much related to my life. In my family, the youngest child is usually expected to take care of their parents when they get older. My uncle is the youngest of four and he takes care of my grandmother while taking care of his own family as well. My grandmother always tells me when i have kids my self ill know what to expect from them as i get older. It is exactly the way it is portrayed in the story, they take care of us, and when we get older, we take care of them.  

TED TALK

The ted talk was very informative. I liked the lesson behind Adichies speech, the single story has a lot it can misinform someone about if that is the only thing they are exposed to. But besides the lesson of the speech, it was nice listening to a story of someone who is not from the United States and getting a visual of how they grew up and what they went through.
